- October Half-Term -

I went to Ho Chi Minh for half-term ! It was a really nice break and I loved spending some time catching up on my reading. Now I need to spend the next two days finishing up my homework 😓

also, it’s my 17th bday on sunday??? this year totally slipped by me even though it’s been one of the most eventful to date. i’ve done a lot of growing whilst being 16, so i’m looking forward to being me-but-stronger in 2018 too.

  • try your best. not everyone can get all As, and getting all As does not make you better than everyone else. just do the best you can and be the best person you can be.
  • don’t sleep in class! i know it seems so so tempting but slept my way through geography last year and i got a C in my exam instead of the expected A so…
  • Don’t tick off your teacher, follow the rules to an extent, get to class on time, respect your classmates and teachers. you know, just be a decent person.
  • be positive!!! and not just for the first week or so, keep the positivity going throughout the whole school year. if you don’t believe in yourself then why should anyone else?

i’ve finished secondary school ohmygod!! my last exam was yesterday, so i took a day to revel in the freedom, and it’s only just hitting me that i’ll be going to sixth form in september! until then, i have a busy summer ahead of me.

i’m having a legendary, super productive day! i left home at 8am, went to tesco, zoomed to school for physics revision first period, studied in the common room until lunch, ate, sat general studies paper1, studied in the common room until an hour after home time, went to the town centre again, then came home to find my dad dishing up kfc! i blasted through the entirety of P3 yesterday so i’m gonna spend the rest of the evening finishing the last 20% of P2 💪💪

i realised a couple of hours earlier that physics is the last exam i have to revise for???? since general studies2 is on random topics. that’s rly tripping me out!!
